Conducting the magic behind everyday life
ABB's Process Automation business automates, electrifies and digitalizes the most complex industrial infrastructures that are essential to our daily lives. To make this often hidden yet essential contribution more tangible, the campaign launched with a movie that visualizes how automated, orchestrated industrial processes are fundamental to our daily lives, and draws on an analogy to the world of music: at its center is a protagonist whose everyday life is experienced in parallel narrative threads - from operating a plant to conducting an orchestra.
Building a powerful and flexible design system
To create a tangible connection between the often unseen technologies running in the background and their impact on daily lives, the content design system was based on four pillars: people, infrastructure and technology, industry, and nature.
While they offer flexible yet durable storytelling, the social media explainer videos communicate knowledge about each industry in small, digestible pieces.
